Moonraker crew, we’re bringing you another painting with a little bit of that wild, woodsy NorCal magic you loved in our Bigfoot and redwood nights.

This time we’re painting a bold and colorful great horned owl, filled with expressive brushstrokes, unexpected pops of pink, turquoise, violet and gold, and plenty of personality. It has that same slightly mythical, outdoorsy feel  — and makes for a finished piece you’ll really want hanging on your wall.

We’ll guide you through the painting step by step, so no painting experience is necessary. Feel free to follow along exactly or make your owl completely your own. Pre-sketched canvas for ease, (blank canvases always available too!)

Come grab a beer, settle in with your favorite people, and spend the evening painting something a little wild.
